Papaya Fruit Market created a dedicated WIC section in their store, containing multiple shelves stocked with WIC-approved foods. Placing WIC items together makes shopping more convenient and decreases transaction errors. Managers also used the WIC Connect mobile app to make sure all eligible canned and frozen fruits and vegetables were properly labeled.
