Region 2 North
Region 2 North (R2N) is the second most populous region in Michigan. It's three counties, Oakland, Macomb, and St. Clair, are home to 2.2 million people, approximately 22.5% of the population of Michigan. The region is supported by 17 designated trauma centers, 96 life support agencies and 3 medical control authorities.
The Region 2 North application and work plan contains information about regional injury prevention and regional performance improvement. Trauma facilities interested in applying for designation can access this information and use it to develop their plans to participate in regional performance improvement and injury prevention SMART objectives.
