How can I reduce my energy use?
You can do several things to reduce your use.
- Ask your providers about their conservation programs.
- Apply for the Weatherization Assistance Program at your Michigan Community Action Agency Association (MCAAA).
- Unplug a little used refrigerator or freezer. Don't use space heaters. Turn down the temperature on your water heater. Seal places where cold air gets into your home. All of these things can make a big difference in your bills.
