Tim Click, Interim Senior Deputy Director, Childten's Services Administration
Tim Click is the interim senior deputy director for the MDHHS Children’s Services Administration (CSA) where he oversees the state’s child welfare system, including Children’s Protective Services (CPS), the foster care system, adoption services, family preservation services and juvenile justice programs.
Click has more than 30 years’ experience working in child welfare. He began his career as a CPS specialist at the Ionia County MDHHS office in 1994 where he eventually served as a case manager in CPS investigation, foster care, foster home licensing and prevention.
Prior to his current appointment, Click was the In-Home Services Bureau director, and before that was the county director overseeing daily operations for Allegan and Barry counties’ CSA and Economic Stability Administration programs.
Click earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Central Michigan University and a master’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University.
