The Genesee CountyMichigan Department of Health and Human Services reopened the Pierson Road district office on Aug. 3, MDHHS Genesee County Director Sheryl Thompson said today.
The office temporarily relocated to the former Kmart building, 4100 W. Pierson Road in Flint, next to Interstate 75. This is a temporary stop until a new, permanent office opens at 4403 Clio Road in the Mayfair Plaza. The move to that permanent facility is expected in September 2011, Thompson said.
"The Pierson Road district office is open and we are in business to meet the needs of our clients," Thompson said. "We are pleased to be in a new facility and we've greatly appreciated the patience of our clients, staff and the community during these last few months."
The Pierson Road district office will service residents from the following zip codes: 48415, 48417, 48418, 48420, 48421, 48433, 48437, 48457, 48458, 48460, 48463, 48464, 48473, 48504 and 48531.
All Pierson Road office phone numbers will remain the same.
The Genesee County MDHHS will continue to provide the best service to our clients.
