Celebrating 154 graduates from MI Career & Tech Institute

Lansing, Mich. Jan. 29 – The Michigan Career and Technical Institute (MCTI) will be graduating 154 students from throughout the state on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Operated by Michigan Rehabilitation Services within the Michigan Department of Human Services, MCTI provides vocational training in 13 different career areas for adults with disabilities. MCTI is located in Plainwell, Mich.
“Work transforms lives -- that’s why we believe strongly most people are better off working,” said Duane Berger, deputy director of the Department of Health and Human Services. “MRS and its Michigan Career and Technical Institute do tremendous work helping those with disabilities become more self-sufficient and productive. We congratulate all the graduates, who are a great example of the Governor’s vision for a River of Opportunity.”
