The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), under Executive Order 2019-17, MDHHS Tribal Consultation Policy, Children's Services Agency (CSA) Tribal Consultation Agreements, and Collaborative Governance Commitment facilitates tribal consultation with Michigan's 12 federally recognized tribes to provide comprehensive and innovative services to Michigan's American Indian Alaska Native residents.
