Are you interested in being listed on the MDHHS Doula Registry?  

  • The MDHHS Doula Registry is a platform for families to find doulas in their area. By completing the MDHHS Doula Registry Application, doulas can have their information publicly available at no cost.  

Are you interested in becoming a Medicaid-enrolled provider of doula care?  

Do you want to be a Medicaid-provider and are feeling overwhelmed?

  • The Doula Initiative website resources that may help you get through the first five steps:
  • Doula Specialty - Medicaid Provider Enrollment
    • Step-by-step presentation for doula providers includes enrollment in CHAMPS, registering in SIGMA and adding Doula Specialty. 
    • Instructions on how to complete the Individual/Sole provider enrollment and how to associate with a doula group or Medicaid-enrolled organization.

    • Basics of becoming a Medicaid provider including verifying beneficiary eligibility, submitting fee-for-service claims and other provider resources.

    • Responses to commonly asked questions from the Michigan doula network.
