This announces the availability of funds to be awarded by the Council for innovative project proposals for a federal initiative. Funding for was provided by The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Community Living with partnership support from the Centers for Disease Control. Grant funds, from $10,000 up to $50,000 each, will be awarded for initiatives designed to "Enhance the Public Health Workforce" that directly support public health services for persons with disabilities.
