Worried about the cost of AT? You have options.
Assistive technology can feel expensive, but many people get help paying for it. You may be able to get support through:
- Medicaid programs
- Private insurance
- Low interest loan programs

Michigan Assistive Technology Loan Fund (MATLF)
The Michigan Assistive Technology Loan Fund (MATLF) offers information and support as you build a plan to meet your financial goals and purchase needed assistive technology (AT) utilizing all resources and funding strategies as well as MATLF program loans to minimize debt.
Financial health activities offered through MATLF include:
- Financial coaching
- Financial health classes (virtual and in-person)
- Credit building activities
- Grant and loan education
- Low interest and no interest loans
