Alcohol and Underage Drinking

Learn how to do your part to prevent underage drinking.

Underage drinking is a serious problem in the state of Michigan and throughout the United States. Early prevention is key, because kids who start drinking early are six times more likely to develop an alcohol use disorder as adults. Drinking also increases their risk of getting injured in accidents, being victims or perpetrators of violence, committing suicide, and having problems in school.
