PIHP network adequacy standards

  • Updated MDHHS network adequacy standards for current PIHPs, published in January 2025.
  • MDHHS reserves the right to revise the network adequacy standards, as needed.
  • MDHHS anticipates the RFP will require bidders to submit (1) a narrative plan describing how networks will be developed, and (2) provider letters of intent to contract with the PIHP.
