Where we stand with COVID-19
The State of Michigan is working around the clock to test and treat COVID-19 patients. Below is the most recent data healthcare experts across the state have compiled. We are now updating the data in the following way:
- Case and death data will be updated once per week on Tuesdays.
- Case and death data will be inclusive of both confirmed and probable cases and deaths.
- The cumulative county COVID-19 case rate map has been replaced with a map of the CDC COVID-19 community levels and will be refreshed on Fridays.
Note on Weekly COVID-19 Confirmed and Probable Cases (01/17/23): Due to a backlog of previously unreported historic lab results received and processed on 01/13/23, today's weekly confirmed and probable case count contains approximately 2,900 additional probable cases that are attributable to older lab results. These cases will be sorted to the appropriate onset (or specimen collection) date in the Daily Case tab of the dashboard.
