BC3NP and WISEWOMAN Eligibility

Who Is Eligible?

Women are eligible for services based on the following criteria:

  • Between the ages of 21 and 64 for the BC3NP.
  • Between the ages of 35 and 64 for WISEWOMAN.
  • Not insured or insured with high out of pocket costs.
  • Income (less than 250% Federal Poverty Level; see table below).
  • Currently living in Michigan.

Note: Women who are enrolled in a managed care program, a health maintenance organization, or Medicare Part B are not eligible for the BC3NP. Clients are not required to submit proof of income.
 

What are the eligibility requirements?

  • Household income that's 250% of (or below) the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Size of Family Unit

  • Size of the family unit refers to the number of people dependent on the household income.
