Shared Residential Well Water
Shared Residential Well Water
Do you have shared residential well water?
- If you live in a small apartment complex, duplex, or something similar, and you are not connected to a type 1 community public water supply (city/community residential water), you may be on shared residential well water supplied by a type 3 public water supply.
- A type 3 public water supply provides water to more than one single family home but not as many homes as a type 1 community public water supply.
- The property owner is responsible for the well.
- The water provided typically comes from groundwater through a water well.
