Request for Public Comment: Public Comment Period Open for Operating Standard A-1 Care Management

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services-Health Services, Bureau of Aging, Community Living, and Supports (ACLS Bureau) State Unit on Aging, has revised the operating standard for Care Management.

The purpose of this update is to simplify and clarify standards by modernizing language, aligning requirements with federal rules, and streamlining service delivery expectations to ensure consistent, person-centered, high-quality care, while incorporating the Care Management Performance Criteria into the general standard and relocating Targeted Care Management- Group C (TCM-C) to the Medicaid Provider Manual for reference.

Public comment is open from April 17, 2026, to May 17, 2026. Please submit comments via email to Candice Dubbs at dubbsc@michigan.gov.
