MI-Mobile Health
MI-Mobile Health
Purpose:
Since 2021, the Michigan Transformation, Engagement, and Community Health Office (MI-TEaCH) proudly directs and subsidizes the infrastructure of the 19 Mobile Health Units that make up the MI-Mobile Health Coalition dedicated to advancing mobile health prevention health care and social services by meeting people where they live, work, and gather to improve access and promote wellness.
Mission:
To bring essential preventative health and social services to Michigan's disadvantaged communities most impacted by health outcome differences.
MI-Mobile Health Consortium
The MI-Mobile Health Consortium is a coalition of Mobile Health Units across Michigan. The Consortium’s main goals are to centralize mobile health data and outcomes, to promote mobile health in Michigan, and to develop cross partnership and best practices.
MI-Mobile Health Coalition: |
Michigan Mobile Health Corps: |
The Coalition, led by MDHHS MI-TEaCH, is a network of Michigan-based mobile health units that share a specific interest in advancing placed-based population health and are organized to accomplish shared goals, such as infrastructure standards, data interoperability, policy change, cross functional training, and engagement strategies. |
The HealthCorps, led by Wayne State University, is a health care provider network advancing the ability to implement scalable place-based clinical health outcomes as a service delivery system. Together, we envision a new model for preventative place-based health care that streamlines overall healthcare. |
Goals & Objectives:
- To provide health and social services to Michigan residents living in communities that have been marginalized and susceptible to poor health outcomes, who may not otherwise have access to these services.
- To address the racial and ethnic disparities already in existence and exacerbated by COVID-19 throughout the State’s most at risk locations.
