Clinical Support and Service Navigation Section, Section Manager - Jacharri Lewis-Dixon

  • Develop and implement a staffing model and related clinical protocols to support clinical review for children and youth with high-intensity needs 
  • Coordinate with BPHASA, SHA, CSA, and PIHP/CMSHP staff to operationalize the clinical review process and track and respond to emergency situations 
  • Provide clinical guidance to staff within the bureau on policy and programmatic issues related to children’s behavioral health services 
  • Develop and implement a strategy to support local partnerships between behavioral health providers, child welfare agencies, and other local entities in addressing complex cases

Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) SectionSection Manager – Dr. Mary Luchies

  • Serve as lead of development, implementation, and maintenance of Medicaid policy for I/DD and ASD services for children, youth, and families.
  • Develop and implement policy and programmatic changes to ensure access, availability, and utilization of Medicaid-funded services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including ASD.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other state agencies and organizations serving children and families with developmental disabilities, including ASD.
  • Support compliance and oversight activities related to services for children and adults with developmental disabilities, including ASD.
  • Support the Clinical Support and Service Navigation Team with access to resources for children with developmental disabilities, including ASD.
  • Provide clinical support to staff within the bureau and other child serving agencies on behavior health treatment programming, outcomes, and assessments.
  • Support the Autism Council and Developmental Disabilities Council.
