In October 2025, Michigan adopted the immunization schedules published by the American Academy of Pediatricians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as the standards of care for immunization practices in Michigan.
MDHHS is working to ensure that all materials and webpages reference these immunization recommendations that are supported by evidence and aligned with best practices.
