March 17, 2026: Attention All Providers: Due to system release the CHAMPS system will be unavailable between 7:00 PM EST Friday, March 20th, through 11:00 AM EST Saturday, March 21st, 2026. This outage will affect system access for all functionalities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
This CHAMPS release will also include the new Prior Authorization changes per policy (MMP-26-02.pdf). As such requests for new Prior Authorizations (PA) and the new PA provider Communication function will not be available until Sunday March 22, 2026.
