Cole Williams
Cole Williams is a passionate father, author, speaker, and advocate for youth and families impacted by the juvenile justice and child welfare systems. As a biological, foster, and adoptive parent, Cole brings lived experience, humor, and powerful storytelling to his work, transforming systems from the inside out.
He is the Executive Director of The Delta Project, a nonprofit that empowers young people especially Black and Brown boys to envision meaningful futures. Cole’s work centers family engagement, healing, and youth voice. He has served on Michigan’s State Task Force on Juvenile Justice Reform and multiple state advisory committees, using his insight as both a parent and practitioner to inform policy and practice that better supports families.
His comic book and film projects shift narratives about young fathers, while his training sessions and keynotes equip professionals to engage families in more compassionate, human-centered ways. Cole’s journey as a single father raising eight sons’ grounds everything he does in love, resilience, and the belief that every family deserves to be seen.
