All new Billing Agent enrollments must also be completed utilizing the CHAMPS system. All providers who are associated to a Billing Agent will not be able to complete a new enrollment until the Billing Agent has been approved in CHAMPS. Most resources are provided in both PDF and Adobe Recording formats.
MDHHS utilizes email address information entered in the CHAMPS billing agent application to communicate with providers and billing agents. Billing agents are responsible for maintaining accurate and valid email address information within their CHAMPS enrollment information. If the email address information is out of date or incorrect, enrolled billing agents will want to modify their CHAMPS enrollment information and submit it for approval.
