Get Involved and Stay Updated
Stay updated on maternal & infant health in Michigan. Our work includes public health programs, initiatives and interventions aimed at improving the health and well-being of women, infants, families, and communities across Michigan. It is important that information, data, and resources be shared to our maternal infant health network so that programs and policies can be data informed. If you have maternal and infant health updates please send them to us for consideration, we are committed to leveraging our resources to improve health across our state.
MDHHS holds quarterly Mother Infant Health and Equity Collaborative (MIHEC) meetings as part of Michigan's Maternal Infant Health and Equity Improvement Plan. The meetings rotate to different regions to engage all members of the community in the Improvement Plan. Anyone with an interest in maternal & infant health and equity is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Registration is now open for the virtual Maternal Infant Health Summit scheduled for September 22-23, 2020. Information including an updated agenda, will be posted as it becomes available.
