Request for Public Comment: Public Comment Period Open for C-26 Respite Care Operating Standard for Service Programs

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services-Health Services, Bureau of Aging, Community Living, and Supports (ACLS Bureau), has updated the Respite Care operating standard.

The purpose of this update is to clarify language, comply with federal rules, and to recognize kinship caregivers as eligible clients.

Public comment is open from April 17, 2026, to May 17, 2026. Please submit comments via email to Lacey Charboneau at: charboneaul2@michigan.gov
