Nick Williams
Nick Williams is a passionate lived experience worker and youth advocate who spent the majority of his teenage years between the ages of 16 and 19 incarcerated within the juvenile justice system. After navigating the challenges of confinement, reentry, and the stigma that often follows justice-involved youth, Nick made a powerful decision: to turn his story into a source of strength, advocacy, and transformation. His firsthand perspective drives his commitment to challenging harmful systems, uplifting youth voices, and building more restorative and empowering pathways for young people.
Today, Nick serves as a mentor, speaker, and community leader dedicated to disrupting cycles of incarceration. Through his work with grassroots organizations and system partners, he bridges the gap between impacted youth and policy decision-makers. Whether he’s facilitating peer groups, leading creative outreach through his fashion-based for-profit, or advising on youth-centered programming, Nick brings authenticity, resilience, and a vision for change rooted in experience and purpose.
