Lewis joins Michigan Office of Services to the Aging

LANSING - The Michigan Office of Services to the Aging (OSA) today announced that Phil Lewis has been named public affairs specialist.
Lewis will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations and legislative and advocacy strategies to advance OSA and aging-related issues on a statewide and national level. In addition, will he play a leadership role in the development of statewide communications initiatives for aging services, programs and supports. He will also serve as OSA's primary media contact.
"Phil is uniquely qualified for this position and I can't think of a more experienced professional to help lead the OSA with our public relations, legislative and advocacy strategies," said Kari Sederburg, director of the OSA. "This addition to our team reinforces OSA's deep commitment to provide leadership, innovation, advocacy and policy on behalf of Michigan's older adults and their caregivers."
Lewis, of Lansing, was previously a senior account executive at Truscott Rossman, a statewide bipartisan strategic communications firm headquartered in Lansing.
