Since January 1, 2021, all qualified commercial health plans are required to cover PrEP services without cost sharing, including medication, clinic visits, and lab services. Providers and patients can use the PrEP Cost Sharing Complaint Template to file a complaint about an uncompliant health plan charging for PrEP services.
