The TBI Services and Prevention Council (SPC) was established by the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) in April 2005. The Council is made up of survivors, family members, providers and professionals who help guide MDCH and other public agencies implement TBI systems changes. The newsletters are created by SPC members in an effort to promote awareness about preventing brain injuries.
