As long as the OTA/PTA receives supervision from a licensed occupational and physical therapist, services must be billed under G0151 (PT code) or G0152 (OT code). If therapists are not receiving supervision, these services cannot be billed. FFS claims will be denied if either G0157 – PTA code or G0158 – OTA code is reported.
Services for Home Health OT and PT must be billed through HHAeXchange and billed in sequential Date of Service (DOS) order. Services that require EVV and other EVV policy can be found in Policy Bulletins MMP 24- 11 and MMP 24-21 on the Electronic Visit Verification website.
