Recognized Stroke Smart Michigan Champions
We will start recognizing Stroke Smart Michigan Champions in 2027 and will begin listing recognized Champions on this page at that time.
Organizations that complete the Stroke Smart Michigan criteria will demonstrate strong leadership in improving health in their communities. Recognized entities will help:
- Equip staff, volunteers, and community members with life-saving knowledge.
- Strengthen community preparedness and reduce delays in seeking emergency care.
- Connect residents with essential resources for stroke prevention and response.
MDHHS and its partnering organizations commend organizations throughout the state for their work prioritizing stroke education and advancing healthier outcomes across Michigan.*
*Please Note: Recognition as a Stroke Smart Michigan Champion reflects a commitment to awareness — not clinical certification — and does not imply qualifications to diagnose or treat stroke.
