I am a horse owner. Can I leave my home to care for my horse?

Under Executive Order 2020-92, a person may leave their home to pursue activities necessary to sustain or protect life. This includes animal life. If you are the primary caregiver, you may leave your home to care for your animal including to provide food and water, necessary exercise, to remove manure, to give your horse needed medications and treatments, and to assess the health of your horse. If leaving your home, it is important to practice social distancing and other mitigation measures as provided in the order.
