Dear Colleagues,
This alert impacts authorization of CSHCS Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) assistance using the Children’s Healthcare Automated Support Services system (CHASS).
An issue was discovered after the November 30, 2017 release. When trying to add an address for a provider, the CHASS system is not allowing the address to be added for the provider. Therefore the authorization cannot be completed.
The fix for this issue is scheduled to go into production on Wednesday December 6, 2017. In the interim, you can create a draft authorization and then on Wednesday you can complete and submit the authorization for approval.
