Dear Colleagues,
This alert impacts authorization of CSHCS Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) assistance.
As a reminder, effective October 01, 2017, CSHCS mileage and lodging reimbursement is to be processed using the Children’s Healthcare Automated Support Services (CHASS) system. The paper Client Transportation Authorization and Invoice MSA-0636 (04/16) is used only when NEMT is needed for a diagnostic evaluation and the client does not have active CSHCS coverage.
Beginning 10.16.17, CSHCS will be returning the MSA-0636 back to the LHD to be entered through the CHASS system (except for diagnostic evaluation).
