Commission on Services to the Aging to Meet Friday in Lansing

Michigan Office of Services to the Aging Director, Lynn Alexander, today announced that the Commission on Services to the Aging will meet on Friday, June 15, 2001. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at the Holiday Inn West Conference Center, 7501 W. Saginaw, in Lansing.
The Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging is appointed by the Governor and acts as advocates for Michigan residents age 60 and older. The Commission also reviews and approves grants administered by the Office of Services to the Aging and the formulates recommendations in federal and state programs, statutes and policies.
