Ending HIV Together: Michigan's Equitable Plan
Ending HIV Together: Michigan's Equitable Plan
Ending HIV Together: Michigan’s Equitable Plan is an effort to reduce new HIV infections by 90% by 2030 through increased diagnosis, treatment, prevention and coordinated response.
To realize this ambitious vision, MDHHS and its partners have set four goals to reduce new HIV infections:
Goal One
Increase the number of people tested for HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) statewide.
Goal Two
Increase retention of people with HIV in ongoing care.
Goal Three
Increase pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) referrals among eligible people who test negative for HIV.
Goal Four
Increase capacity and implementation of activities for detecting and responding to HIV networks and outbreaks.
