Coping Strategies
- Learning to live with grief and loss is a painful process—and while it differs from one individual to another, it helps us to understand the normal feelings we all experience.
- In 2020, a behavioral health partnership led by MDHHS established the Stay Well program to offer support to Michiganders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The program provided coping resources, including webinars, toolkits, support groups and educational materials. Although live Stay Well programming ended in 2023, the mental health resources can still be helpful for people with Long COVID.
In this workshop series, Stay Well outreach specialist Zeinab Moussa discusses the emotions experienced by those who are grieving and offers healthy ways to cope.
