Where do you work and how long have you worked there?
"I have worked at Touch of Class Car Wash in Muskegon for one year."
What parts of your job do you enjoy the most?
"I enjoy connecting with co-workers. I also enjoy doing the work of washing the cars."
Can you share a moment when you felt proud of your contributions at work?
"I'm proud to show up to work on time and pick up shifts when an employee calls off their shift. Right now, I am training to handle the money and run the wash process."
Can you describe how your employment has improved your life outside of work?
"I think about how proud I am of what I'm doing with my life. I'm a hard worker, and now I have money to spend on the things that I need."
What advice would you give to people with disabilities who are looking for a job in their community?
"I would be happy to share my experience and give my advice to anyone that needs it."
What advice would you give to employers that may want to hire people with disabilities?
"Give people with disabilities a chance. People with disabilities work just as hard as anybody else."
