Zeinab MoussaGrief and loss have become the somber byproducts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us are grieving -- some for the first time -- and whether you are mourning the loss of a loved one, a job, or a way of life, the feelings can be overwhelming.

In this 6-week webinar series, clinical mental health counselor Zeinab Moussa discusses the emotions experienced by those who are grieving and offers healthy ways to cope. Each weekly Zoom workshop will focus on one aspect of the grieving process. Throughout the series, participants will engage in drawing, writing, mental exercises, and relaxation techniques to help them work through their grief.

The series will end with an examination of closure and a reminder that grief is an individualized process that cannot be rushed.

Supplies needed: plain paper; markers or crayons; pencil or pen.
