Direct Care Workers: Communications Toolkit
MDHHS wants to help provide support and resources in your efforts to educate and vaccinate your direct care workers (DCWs). There are several communications resource materials available to help, and we have pulled together some key pieces into a package to help you address some of the most common questions and concerns we have heard from direct care workers in regard to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The materials in the toolkit can be used singularly or in combination with the other materials to help promote staff vaccinations, and build confidence in its safety and efficacy. Below is a description of those materials and how you might be able to use them in your communications efforts. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Poster for Direct Care Workers
For You … and For Them.
This poster is available in two versions, one with a yellow background and another with a white background for easier printing. The graphics can be downloaded and inserted into newsletters, email messages, as well as printed and posted where appropriate within your facility.
The Word version of the poster can be customized by inserting your logo on the bottom right.
Common vaccine questions
These are an easier way for DCWs to get their questions answered. They are sized to fit social media, and can also be printed, included in presentations, inserted in newsletters or emailed as an attachment.
