June 16, 2026: Attention All Providers: The purpose of this communication is to inform all Medicaid Providers that beginning July 1, 2026, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) and Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) Wrap Around Code Lists will be replaced with a new format.
Providers are to refer to the ASC Prospective Payment System Rates and Outpatient Prospective Payment System Payment Rates located at MDHHS Provider Billing & Reimbursement website for fee schedule and coverage information. This update is being instituted in response to the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) 2024 “Ensuring Access to Medicaid Services” (Access Final Rule, CMS-2442-F).
