December 8, 2025: Attention Nursing Facility Providers: The MDHHS Long Term Operations team is excited to launch a new monthly series as part of each nursing facility touchpoints in 2026. Each touchpoint date will include a mix of MDHHS policy overview and refreshers along with best practices presented by your fellow nursing facilities.
Our first presentation is scheduled for January 8, 2026 and will cover NF Bed Change/Certification Application. To register for the January touchpoint or any other date visit the Nursing Facilities webpage.
Nursing Facilities are welcome to present the best practice at a future nursing facility touchpoint. This can be a very small best practice that you want to share that has helped improve a process or made a meaningful improvement to the resident(s).
If you are interested in presenting a best practice, email MDHHS-LTCOPERATIONS@michigan.gov. Be sure to include the nursing facility name, contact information, and the amount of time you anticipate you will need to share.
